A growing organization is seeking an HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations and serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers.
This is a hands-on role with exposure across employee relations, onboarding, compliance, performance management, HR administration, safety, and HR process improvement. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities with a high level of independence.
Key Responsibilities

- Serve as a resource to employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment-related questions

- Support employee relations matters and escalate issues to leadership as appropriate

- Manage HR support requests and identify trends or recurring issues

- Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientations, E-Verify, and related documentation

- Manage personnel files and ensure accurate HRIS records

- Coordinate 30/60/90-day reviews and support the performance management process

- Respond to employment verification requests

- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment regulations

- Support employee investigations and disciplinary processes

- Provide guidance on leave of absence, workplace concerns, grievances, organizational changes, and other employee relations matters

- Support acquisitions and integrations, including employee onboarding, benefits, communications, and HR process implementation

- Assist with OSHA documentation, workers' compensation reporting, and workplace safety initiatives

- Partner with the Safety team to coordinate and track employee safety training

- Conduct HRIS audits and maintain accurate employee information

- Support employee engagement and team-building initiatives

- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, policies, and overall employee experience

Qualifications

- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred

- 2-5 years of HR experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

- HR certification is a plus

- Experience working in a fast-paced, growing organization with changing priorities

- Strong employee relations and customer service skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

- Self-starter who is comfortable working independently

- Resourceful, solutions-oriented approach to problem solving

- Comfortable working with employees and leaders at all levels
