About The Role
The Software Engineer - Full Stack builds user-facing products and the backend services that power them, working across React, TypeScript, APIs, and cloud-based data systems. The role covers the full delivery cycle: technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
You will partner with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ship reliable features that handle real customer traffic. The team values pragmatic architecture, measurable performance, and clean interfaces between frontend experiences and backend services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver end-to-end product features using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and REST or GraphQL APIs
- Build and maintain backend services, data models, and integrations using Node.js, Python, or a comparable server-side stack
- Develop responsive, accessible frontend experiences with modern state management, component testing, and performance profiling
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL or comparable relational database schemas, queries, migrations, and caching strategies
- Deploy and operate services in AWS or an equivalent cloud environment using Docker, CI/CD pipelines, logging, and production monitoring
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; review code and contribute to engineering standards for reliability and maintainability
- Collaborate with product and design partners to break down requirements, assess tradeoffs, and deliver incremental improvements on schedule
What We Are Looking For
- 3–8 years of professional software engineering experience, including meaningful ownership of full-stack features in production
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript and React, plus practical experience building backend services with Node.js, Python, Java, or a comparable language
- Hands-on experience designing versioned REST or GraphQL APIs and integrating frontend applications with distributed backend systems
- Working knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and data migrations
- Experience with cloud deployment and development workflows, including AWS, Docker, CI/CD, Git, and application observability
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
- Bonus: Experience with Next.js, Kubernetes, Redis, event-driven systems, mobile development, or infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
