Position Summary:-
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce (SFDC) Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of Salesforce initiatives across the organization. The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end Salesforce projects, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, CPQ, and custom platform developments.
The ideal candidate will possess strong project management expertise, stakeholder management skills, and a solid understanding of Salesforce capabilities, integrations, and delivery methodologies. The Project Manager will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, developers, QA teams, vendors, and executive leadership to ensure successful project delivery aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:-
Project Planning & Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of Salesforce programs and projects.
- Develop project charters, business cases, project plans, schedules, and delivery roadmaps.
- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, dependencies, and success criteria.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
- Drive project governance and steering committee meetings.
- Track project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Ensure adherence to project management standards, tools, and methodologies.
Salesforce Program Management
- Manage Salesforce implementations, enhancements, migrations, and platform upgrades.
- Coordinate delivery across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, CPQ, and custom Salesforce solutions.
- Ensure alignment between business requirements and Salesforce capabilities.
- Oversee release planning, deployment schedules, and change management activities.
- Support Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) initiatives where applicable.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for business and technology stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement discussions, planning sessions, and executive reviews.
- Communicate project status, risks, mitigation plans, and delivery outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with business sponsors and cross-functional teams.
Resource & Vendor Management
- Manage internal Salesforce delivery teams and external implementation partners.
- Coordinate activities of Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, QA Engineers, and Release Managers.
- Monitor vendor performance against contractual obligations and delivery commitments.
- Ensure effective resource utilization and capacity planning.
Risk, Quality & Compliance
- Establish project governance and quality assurance processes.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security requirements, and Salesforce best practices.
- Support audit and regulatory requirements as needed.
Agile Delivery Management
- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, release planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize business requirements and user stories.
- Monitor sprint performance and delivery metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement within Salesforce delivery teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
- 15+ years of IT project management experience.
- 7+ years of Salesforce project delivery experience.
- Proven experience managing medium to large Salesforce implementation or transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong financial management, budgeting, and forecasting experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Administrator Certification.
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification.
- Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification.
- Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant Certification.
- Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant Certification.
- PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience working with global delivery teams.
- Prior consulting or system integrator experience preferred.
