Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Data Modeler with strong expertise in the Finance domain to design and maintain conceptual logical and physical data models supporting financial reporting accounting risk treasury and regulatory initiatives
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop enterprise data models for finance systems and data warehouses
Gather and translate business requirements into scalable data structures
Create and maintain data dictionaries metadata and data lineage documentation
Develop dimensional models StarSnowflake for reporting and analytics
Collaborate with Finance Business Data Engineering and Architecture teams
Ensure adherence to data governance data quality and regulatory standards
Support ETLELT development through sourcetotarget mappings and model reviews
Required Skills
Strong experience in Data Modeling Conceptual Logical Physical
Handson experience with ERwin ERStudio PowerDesigner or similar tools
Strong SQL and database design expertise
Experience with Oracle SQL Server Snowflake Azure SQL or PostgreSQL
Knowledge of Data Warehousing Data Vault and Dimensional Modeling
Understanding of Finance processes such as
General Ledger GL
Accounts PayableReceivable APAR
Financial Reporting
Treasury
Regulatory Risk Reporting
Preferred Skills
Azure Databricks Azure Data Factory Synapse or Snowflake
Experience in Banking Capital Markets or Financial Services
Knowledge of IFRS US GAAP or Basel regulations
Education
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Finance or a related field
