About the role
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be a key player in a 4–5 person team, taking ownership of both frontend and backend components of the AI infrastructure. You will work on agent architecture, including orchestrators and sub-agents, and ensure the AI outputs are reliable for courtroom use.

- Take full ownership of third-party integrations (e.g., Clio, iManage, Salesforce) from scoping to deployment.
- Collaborate with a small team to optimize system stability and performance.
- Develop AI-powered features like document extraction and agent orchestration tailored for litigation.
- Contribute to backend optimization to enhance reliability at scale.
Why This Role Is Compelling
- Join as the 3rd founding engineer with significant equity in a pre-Series A company.
- Directly partner with the founder on UX and product decisions.
- Work on AI that matters, ensuring correctness in legal applications.
- Engage with cutting-edge agent engineering, including orchestrator/sub-agent patterns and eval loops.
The Ideal Candidate
- 3–8 years of experience in full stack development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, SQL, React, Next.js, and modern CSS.
- Experience with AI architectures, including LLM Agent Architectures and RAG.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt quickly to changes.
