Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, GitOps, CI/CD automation, and production troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting cloud-native production environments across AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), with particular expertise in Amazon EKS and OCI OKE. Experience supporting or participating in AWS EKS to OCI OKE migration initiatives is highly preferred.
This role will focus on designing, deploying, automating, and supporting highly available and scalable cloud-native environments for high-traffic digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters and workloads in production environments.
- Manage Kubernetes deployments using Helm, Argo CD, and GitOps practices.
- Support and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Participate in AWS EKS to OCI OKE migration initiatives.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or OpenTofu.
- Manage application and infrastructure secrets using External Secrets Operator and cloud-based secret management solutions.
- Implement and maintain observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues across Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, networking, deployments, and applications.
- Improve system reliability, scalability, availability, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering, platform, security, and application teams to support cloud-native applications.
- Participate in production incident response, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.
- Establish and maintain DevOps, automation, and GitOps best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with Argo CD and GitOps.
- Strong experience with Helm.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, particularly Amazon EKS.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), particularly OCI OKE.
- Experience with or exposure to AWS EKS to OCI OKE migrations.
- Strong experience with CI/CD automation.
- Experience with Terraform and/or OpenTofu.
- Experience with External Secrets Operator.
- Strong production troubleshooting and incident resolution experience.
- Experience with observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native infrastructure and containerized applications.
- Experience with Linux and cloud infrastructure administration.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting high-traffic media, streaming, sports, or consumer digital platforms.
- Experience managing large-scale production Kubernetes environments.
- Experience with cloud migration and modernization projects.
- Knowledge of networking, security, IAM, and load-balancing concepts across AWS and OCI.
- Experience with infrastructure and application performance optimization.
- Experience implementing automated deployment, rollback, and recovery strategies.
