What The Role Is
You will be in-charge of the Service's Operations budget, leading the strategic management of funds allocation and prioritisation. You are also an important conduit between ground units and higher headquarters for finance matters.
What You Will Be Working On
- Manage the allocation and prioritisation of funds
- Present the plan to senior management
- Prepare multi-year, quarterly and yearly budget reports
- Conduct regular review and evaluation of units' performances, and perform timely corrective actions
- Design and implement finance policies and processes
- Advise units on all policy matters and funds-related queries
- Utilise AI to create capacity and improve efficiency
- Conduct finance audits
Challenge(s)
- Managing a diverse range of stakeholders with competing priorities, while ensuring effective utilisation of the Service's budget
What We Are Looking For
- Education in Accountancy, Business, or a related field is preferred
- Relevant qualification and certifications is preferred
- Prior experience in a financial management appointment is advantageous
- Strong command of English
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with AI tools and applications is advantageous
