We are looking for a Libraries, Archives & Localization Specialist with strong research, information-management, archival, and language/localization skills.

This role is ideal for someone experienced in organizing, retrieving, interpreting, and validating information across digital libraries, archival collections, databases, multilingual resources, and structured knowledge systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research using digital libraries, archives, catalogs, databases, and institutional repositories

• Locate, evaluate, classify, and organize primary and secondary source materials

• Perform metadata creation, tagging, indexing, taxonomy development, and information categorization

• Review archival records, historical documents, manuscripts, publications, and digital collections

• Validate sources for accuracy, provenance, relevance, and reliability

• Support multilingual content research, localization, translation review, and cultural adaptation

• Identify terminology, linguistic, cultural, and contextual inconsistencies in localized content

• Compare information across multiple sources and prepare structured research findings

• Work with library management systems, digital repositories, cataloging tools, and research databases

• Assist with digitization, preservation, documentation, and archival information-management workflows

• Create structured summaries, annotations, reference materials, and research reports

• Maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency when working with large information collections

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, Archival Studies, Linguistics, Languages, History, Humanities, or a related field

• Strong research and information-retrieval skills

• Understanding of cataloging, metadata, classification, indexing, and archival practices

• Strong written communication and documentation abilities

• Ability to analyze and organize large volumes of information

• High attention to detail and source accuracy

• Proficiency with digital research tools and databases

Preferred Qualifications

• MLIS, Library & Information Science, Archival Studies, Linguistics, Translation Studies, or similar qualification

• Experience with digital libraries, institutional archives, museums, academic databases, or publishing organizations

• Familiarity with metadata standards such as MARC, Dublin Core, MODS, EAD, or similar frameworks

• Experience in localization, translation review, terminology management, or multilingual research

• Knowledge of digital preservation and archival management tools

• Experience with AI-assisted research, information retrieval, or knowledge-management systems is an advantage
