Senior Project Manager - Construction– London – Hybrid – Permanent 37.5 hours per week – £60,000 - £90,000 (Multiple levels Available)

Our client is an award-winning construction and property consultancy looking for Senior Project Managers to join their London team. A background in the construction industry and MRICS chartership is essential.
Working Patterns and location – Hybrid – 2-3 days on site per week
The Key Responsibilities of a Senior Project Manager - Construction:
- Deliver full project management services from initial briefing through to post-construction completion.
- Establish and maintain effective project processes, systems and governance frameworks.
- Monitor, track and document project progress, changes and key performance indicators.
- Prepare formal project reports, progress updates and written client communications.
- Manage client, contractor and designer relationships professionally and proactively.
- Support commission management to ensure profitability margins and client satisfaction are achieved.
- Contribute to business development, including proposals, bids and identifying new opportunities.
- At Associate Director level: own a P&L, lead resource planning and drive new business generation.
Below is a list of Key Skills required for a Senior Project Manager - Construction, however you will not be expected to have everything:
- Minimum three years' experience in a construction project management role within a consultancy.
- MRICS chartership, this is essential for both roles.
- Strong ability to manage multiple commissions simultaneously to a consistently high standard.
- Extensive experience using MS Project for programme management and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality documentation.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, contractors and design teams.
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of commission profitability and client satisfaction.
- Experience supporting or leading business development activity, including bids and proposals.
The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:
- Background delivering projects in pharmaceutical or education sectors.
- Experience managing P&L and resource planning at Associate Director level.
- Relevant postgraduate qualification such as a Masters in Project Management or Construction.
- Understanding of CDM regulations and principal designer responsibilities.
- Experience working across mixed-sector portfolios including residential, healthcare or commercial.
