Role Description The Manufacturing Engineering Technician will support production operations by assisting with manufacturing engineering activities, equipment setup, and process optimization. This is a full-time, on-site role based in California, United States. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing and improving manufacturing processes, performing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, and supporting machining and soldering tasks as needed. The technician will collaborate with engineers and production staff to implement process changes, ensure product quality, and maintain safety and efficiency on the shop floor. The role may also include documenting procedures, assisting with testing and inspections, and providing technical support during new product introductions. We are hiring for our partners.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Manufacturing Engineering and Manufacturing Processes to support production setup, optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Strong Troubleshooting abilities for equipment, tooling, and process issues in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on proficiency in Machining and related shop practices for producing and modifying components.
- Practical experience with Soldering, including working with electronic or mechanical assemblies as required.
- Understanding of safety standards, quality control practices, and basic lean manufacturing or 5S principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Collaborative communication skills and ability to work effectively with engineers, technicians, and production teams.
- Relevant technical diploma, certification, or associate degree in manufacturing technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment in California or similar setting is beneficial.
