We are seeking a curious, experimental engineer to join us at the intersection of AI research and software engineering, with a strong focus on agent-based architectures and real-world deployment.
This role is based in Tuas, and candidates must be amenable to working at this location.
We are open to exceptional fresh graduates who have demonstrated talent through internships, co-ops, or intensive academic projects in Agentic AI.
⇒ Main Responsibilities
- Design and implement agentic AI systems capable of planning, reasoning, and executing multi-step tasks.
- Develop and optimise LLM workflows, including tool usage, memory management, and orchestration (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar).
- Integrate with our software ecosystem using gRPC and microservices.
- Build real-time decision engines and intelligent automation frameworks.
- Evaluate and improve agent performance through testing, benchmarking, and iteration.
- Stay sharp on emerging trends in LLMs, autonomous systems, and agentic research—and prototype new ideas where relevant.
⇒ Qualifications & Experience
Must-have:
- Strong programming expertise in Python.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: C, C++, Golang, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks and workflows (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, or similar) — this can be gained through internships, university research projects, or personal portfolio work.
- Solid understanding of:
- LLMs and prompt engineering.
- Multi-agent systems and orchestration patterns.
- API integration and distributed systems.
- Experience building AI systems or microservices — production-grade experience is a plus, but robust internship or project work is equally valued.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex, evolving environments.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with real-time data processing or sensor-driven systems.
- Familiarity with decision engines, reinforcement learning, or planning algorithms.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containerized deployments such as Docker.
- Experience working with vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval systems.
