Senior Java Developer | Digital Development Team

We’re looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a digital development team within a large, established organization.
This is a hands-on backend development role in a modern, fast-moving technology environment, working with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, MongoDB, and relational databases.
You’ll be joining a team that builds and maintains digital services and complex backend systems, with a strong focus on scalable architecture, cloud technologies, and continuous technological improvement.
Must-have Requirements
• 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot
• Proven experience working with Microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience working with AWS cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB
• Experience working with NoSQL / non-relational databases
• Experience working with relational databases
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and learn new technologies quickly
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
Nice to have
• Experience developing with AI tools / AI-assisted development tools
• Familiarity with IBM WebSphere (WAS)
Relevant academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or advanced Information Systems studies.
