We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and manage daily valet parking operations across assigned locations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, operational, customer service, and people-management skills, with proven experience in valet parking, hospitality, parking management, or a similar service-oriented environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations, maintaining high service standards, managing manpower, and ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise daily valet parking operations across multiple sites.
- Lead, train, motivate, and monitor valet attendants, drivers, supervisors, and other operational staff.
- Ensure adequate manpower deployment and effective workforce scheduling based on operational requirements.
- Monitor operational performance, productivity, attendance, grooming, discipline, and service quality.
- Ensure all valet operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards.
- Coordinate with clients, property management, security teams, and other stakeholders to maintain smooth site operations.
- Handle customer concerns, complaints, and operational issues professionally and promptly.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety standards, and service requirements.
- Monitor vehicle handling, parking procedures, key management, ticketing, and vehicle movement processes.
- Ensure proper implementation of SOPs and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Prepare and review operational reports, manpower requirements, attendance records, incidents, and performance reports.
- Identify operational challenges and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Support the opening and mobilization of new valet sites, including manpower planning, training, equipment, and operational setup.
- Coordinate with the HR and recruitment teams regarding manpower requirements, recruitment, onboarding, and staff deployment.
- Manage incidents, accidents, vehicle damage claims, and other operational emergencies in coordination with relevant departments.
- Monitor staff performance and recommend coaching, disciplinary action, or recognition when required.
- Ensure all operational equipment, uniforms, communication devices, and other resources are properly maintained and available.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and ensure contractual service requirements are consistently achieved.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, service quality, and customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in valet parking, parking operations, hospitality, transportation, facilities management, or a related industry.
- Proven experience managing large operational teams and multiple locations.
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and client relationship management abilities.
- Good knowledge of manpower planning, scheduling, and operational performance monitoring.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational priorities.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and operational procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
- UAE driving license is preferred.
- Candidates with experience in large-scale valet or parking operations will have an advantage.
