For our client, we are seeking a Solutions Architect, Forward Deployed to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.
This role partners closely with sales, delivery, and client stakeholders to shape AI solutions from early discovery through scope definition and execution handoff. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted technical advisor, connecting customer challenges to practical architecture, governance, and implementation plans. This position requires strong customer-facing presence, deep technical breadth, and the ability to turn complex AI opportunities into clear business and delivery outcomes.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $152,852 – $269,087 annually
Responsibilities
- Drive opportunity creation with sales and partners by showcasing demonstrable AI solutions
- Lead on-site discovery to identify customer challenges and co-design AI solutions
- Own the technical narrative across the sales cycle, managing architecture and governance discussions
- Translate customer needs into actionable Statements of Work and scope definitions
- Develop business cases connecting AI ambitions to the data groundwork required for success
- Identify new use case opportunities within existing accounts to expand services
- Ensure a smooth handoff to delivery by documenting key architecture and assumptions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; experience may substitute for degree requirement
- 10+ years in software engineering, data engineering, or AI/ML delivery, including at least 4 years in customer-facing roles
- Demonstrated success in presales or sales engineering, including technical presentations and generating Statements of Work
- Proven experience with Palantir Foundry and AIP, including enterprise-scale solutions design
- Strong proficiency in full-stack development: Python required, plus Node.js/Go, React/Vue
- Hands-on expertise in integrating enterprise systems and deploying AI/ML applications at scale
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage C-suite and technical audiences
