This role is being recruited by CoffeeSpace on behalf of an anonymous AI-enabled logistics software company modernizing military sustainment systems.

We’re identifying a small number of exceptional forward deployed engineers from our network. If there’s a strong fit, we’ll introduce you directly to the founding team.

Compensation: $190K–$220K base + competitive equity

About the role

You will tackle diverse challenges spanning full-stack development, networking, systems integration, and user-focused problem solving. Collaborate with Product Engineering, Design, and the Mission Success team to deliver end-to-end solutions that support military logisticians.

This role involves working in small teams with minimal supervision, owning high-stakes projects from start to finish, and traveling up to 40% to deploy and support software systems at military bases worldwide.

What You’ll Do

- Engage directly with end users to understand and solve their toughest challenges with software solutions.

- Own features from concept to deployment, ensuring performance in real-world environments.

- Collaborate across teams to build scalable systems and drive complex projects to completion.

- Continuously enhance system reliability and performance through code instrumentation and issue diagnosis.

- Balance short-term urgency with long-term maintainability, focusing on practical, mission-focused solutions.

The Ideal Candidate

- 4+ years of experience in a technical, client-facing role.

- Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, C, and C++.

- Skilled in deploying and integrating software in complex environments.

- Strong communicator capable of earning trust with military stakeholders.

- Able to travel up to 40% for deployments and support.
