Strategy Consultant – Generative AI | Amsterdam

I am currently working with a fast-growing consultancy operating at the intersection of AI, Strategy and Transformation. The business is already working with senior clients across private equity, scale-ups and enterprise, with significant demand for its services and ambitious plans for continued growth.
This is a rare opportunity to join early enough to shape the direction of the business, while still having the opportunity to work on high-impact client engagements from day one.
They are looking for consultants who want to move beyond traditional strategy and slideware, and into the real-world application of Generative AI - helping organisations understand where AI can create value, redesign how work gets done and build the capabilities required to make it stick.
What You'll Do
- Work directly with senior client stakeholders, including C-suite leaders, on strategic AI and transformation challenges
- Identify and prioritise high-value opportunities for Generative AI across organisations and functions
- Translate emerging AI technologies into clear, commercially relevant business cases
- Support workflow redesign and the implementation of AI-enabled ways of working
- Help organisations build internal AI capabilities, adoption strategies and operating models
- Lead workstreams and contribute to high-quality client deliverables and recommendations
- Support business development, proposals and the continued growth of the consultancy
- Play an active role in shaping the firm's proposition, culture and approach as it scales
About You
- Experience from a top-tier consulting environment such as MBB, Kearney, Oliver Wyman, Accenture or a similar strategy/management consultancy
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, with genuine curiosity around how AI is reshaping work, decision-making and business models
- Able to translate complex or emerging technology into clear business value and practical recommendations
- Strong commercial instinct and confidence working with senior client stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial environment where you can have a genuine influence on the direction of the business
- Excited by the opportunity to help build something rather than simply operate within an established structure
- Based in the Netherlands or open to relocating, with hybrid flexibility available
