About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Family Law Associate Attorney with a minimum of 6–7 years of New Jersey Family Law experience. The ideal candidate will be admitted to the New Jersey Bar, have substantial New Jersey court experience, and demonstrate excellent legal research and writing skills.
New York Family Law experience is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Handle a broad range of New Jersey family law matters.
Represent clients in New Jersey Family Court proceedings.
Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
Manage cases independently while providing high-quality client service.
Develop case strategies and appear in court for hearings, conferences, and other proceedings.
Maintain strong relationships with clients and other legal professionals.
Manage an existing or developing portable book of business, where applicable.
Qualifications
Minimum 6–7 years of New Jersey Family Law experience.
Active admission to the New Jersey Bar in good standing.
Strong New Jersey Family Court experience.
Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to independently manage family law matters.
New York Family Law experience is a plus.
Portable book of business is a plus, but not required.
Must be available to work full-time, on-site in Livingston, NJ, 5 days per week.
