One of our clients is expanding its litigation practice and is currently seeking experienced attorneys for two distinct opportunities in Employment Law and Commercial, Regulatory & Public Law.
📍 Locations: San Francisco, CA | Newport Beach, CA | Alexandria, VA | West Palm Beach, FL | Austin, TX
💼 Type: Full-Time | Permanent
⚠️ Location-specific roles: Candidates should be located in the applicable location. Relocation is not being considered.
1️⃣ MID-LEVEL LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Employment Litigation & Counseling
💰 Compensation: $175,000 DOE
Requirements:
• 3+ years of employment law experience covering both litigation and counseling
• State and federal court experience required
• Working knowledge of California labor & employment statutes and civil procedure
• Wage & hour experience required
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Active California Bar membership or ability to obtain admission promptly
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle employment litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination
• Handle wage & hour litigation, including class and representative actions
• Work on executive compensation, equity, separation agreements and restrictive covenant matters
• Handle trade secret and unfair competition matters in the employment context
• Represent employers and employees in state/federal court and arbitration
• Handle administrative proceedings before state and federal agencies
• Provide employment counseling on discipline, termination, leave practices and policies
• Draft and negotiate separation, settlement and restrictive covenant agreements
• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery and substantive briefs
• Conduct and defend depositions and participate in hearings, mediations and settlement conferences
2️⃣ SENIOR LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Commercial, Regulatory & Public Law
💰 Compensation: $215,000 DOE
Requirements:
• 6+ years of litigation experience in state and/or federal court
• Training at a leading law firm, litigation boutique or government practice preferred
• Experience drafting dispositive motions and managing discovery
• Strong research, writing and analytical skills
• Sound professional judgment and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively
• Active Bar membership or ability to obtain admission promptly
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage cases and litigation matters with increasing independence
• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions and substantive briefs
• Conduct and oversee written discovery and motion practice
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations and client strategy sessions
• Work closely with partners on litigation strategy and case development
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel and regulators
