Job Summary:
The RBI Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that the company operates in full compliance with regulations and guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India applicable to NBFCs. The role involves monitoring regulatory updates, implementing compliance frameworks, coordinating audits, and ensuring timely regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with RBI Master Directions applicable to NBFCs.
- Monitor and implement circulars, notifications, and guidelines issued by RBI.
- Prepare and submit all RBI returns within prescribed timelines.
- Maintain statutory registers and compliance records.
- Liaise with RBI officials during inspections and audits.
- Handle RBI inspection observations and ensure timely closure of action points.
- Ensure compliance with KYC/AML norms as per RBI guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal departments for regulatory data collection and reporting.
- Support Secretarial and Legal team in regulatory matters.
- Conduct periodic compliance reviews and risk assessments.
- Maintain Board reporting related to compliance status.

- Experience:
- 4-5 years’ experience in NBFC / Banking compliance
- Experience in handling RBI inspections and returns
