Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Sales Executive to develop and grow sales of industrial blowers, pumps, and related equipment. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new customers, understanding application requirements, preparing quotations, conducting customer visits, negotiating commercial terms, and achieving assigned sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through direct sales, cold calling, references, dealers, and industrial visits.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Visit customer sites to understand technical and application requirements.
- Promote and sell industrial blowers, pumps, and related products.
- Coordinate with the technical/engineering team for product selection and application support.
- Prepare and submit quotations and follow up until order closure.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial requirements.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, purchase orders, dispatches, and payments.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer requirements.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Coordinate with service and after-sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain regular sales reports, customer databases, enquiry status, and sales pipelines.
Technical Knowledge
The candidate should preferably have basic knowledge of:
- Centrifugal and positive-displacement/Roots blowers.
- Centrifugal, industrial, and process pumps.
- Flow rate, pressure, head, capacity, motor power, and efficiency.
- Basic pump curves and blower performance parameters.
- Product selection based on customer application.
- Industrial applications such as wastewater treatment, textile, chemical, food processing, paper, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing industries.
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in industrial/technical sales preferred.
- Experience in pumps, blowers, compressors, industrial equipment, or related products will be an advantage.
- Good communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits.
- Valid driving license preferred.
