Position: IT Project Manager
Location: Regina, Saskatchewan – 100% Onsite
Certification: PMP or PRINCE2 – Mandatory
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager for a complex public-sector IT environment. The ideal resource will have extensive experience managing complex technology projects involving multiple stakeholders, vendors, cloud integrations, formal governance structures, executive reporting, organizational change, and project delivery.
Mandatory Requirements
- Valid PMP or PRINCE2 certification; certificate must be provided.
- Must be available to work 100% onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Key Experience Required / Strongly Preferred
- Strong knowledge of Government of Saskatchewan or comparable public-sector technical and business environments.
- Demonstrated experience as a practicing Project Manager managing complex IT projects.
- Candidates should be able to demonstrate at least three projects managed within the last five years.
- Complex projects should involve multiple stakeholders, vendors, and complex cloud integrations.
- Experience delivering IT projects within government, Crown corporations, healthcare, education, or other regulated public entities.
- Experience working within formal governance, approval and audit requirements.
- Experience with executive steering committees, project boards and formal decision-making forums.
- Strong executive reporting experience, including preparing governance artifacts and supporting senior leadership decisions.
- Significant IT Project Management experience; more than 10 years is particularly valuable under the evaluation criteria.
- Proven ability to manage workloads, prioritize competing requirements, meet deadlines and perform effectively under pressure.
- Experience developing and adapting stakeholder communication strategies involving business, technical, vendor and executive stakeholders.
- Experience managing project teams/resources, systems development, effort/cost estimates, project planning and scheduling.
- Experience creating and managing project plans, schedules, budgets, change orders and project status reports.
- Experience incorporating Organizational Change Management (OCM) into IT project delivery, including change activities, stakeholder readiness, communication planning, training and adoption.
- Experience delivering projects using Agile, Waterfall and/or Hybrid methodologies.
Ideal Candidate
A strong candidate will be an experienced IT Project Manager with 10+ years of experience, PMP/PRINCE2 certification, substantial public-sector exposure, formal governance experience, and a proven record managing complex, multi-stakeholder IT/cloud projects from planning through delivery.
Pay: $52.75-$125.62 per hour
