Senior Product Security Engineer
Work Arrangement: Remote
Salary: ₱240,000 – ₱290,000 per month
Schedule: US Time Zone (PST)

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Security Engineer to help strengthen our application and product security programs. You will work closely with Engineering and other teams to build secure development practices, improve security automation, and protect large-scale applications and services.
Responsibilities
- Lead and improve Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
- Conduct security architecture reviews and threat modeling.
- Develop and implement secure architecture standards.
- Implement security tools such as SAST, DAST, and SCA.
- Manage and improve Web Application Firewall (WAF) policies.
- Drive shift-left security within development workflows.
- Identify and respond to emerging security threats.
- Work with developers to identify and resolve security vulnerabilities.
- Support penetration testing and bug bounty programs.
- Participate in security incident response.
- Help develop security training and security awareness programs.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Application Security, Product Security, or Security Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and common security vulnerabilities.
- Experience with WAF solutions and security controls.
- Experience with bot detection and mitigation.
- Experience implementing SDLC security practices in a DevOps environment.
- Experience securing web applications, microservices, and APIs.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, access management, encryption, and data protection.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, C#/.NET, JavaScript/Node.js, or Java.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
