About You
You are an experienced commercial lawyer with a minimum of 5 years' experience, bringing a strong track record from private practice or in-house roles within large organisations.
Your Experience and Expertise:
- Strong general commercial law experience gained in-house or within a leading law firm
- Extensive experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts
- Proven experience advising on supplier agreements, procurement arrangements and vendor relationships
- Experience advising on customer contracts and supporting commercial negotiations
- Strong understanding of contract law principles and their practical application in a business environment
- Ability to identify legal, commercial and operational risks arising from contractual arrangements
- Experience providing pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice to business stakeholders
- Demonstrated capability to manage a varied portfolio of BAU legal matters across multiple business functions
- Experience supporting senior executives and providing advice on strategic and operational issues
- Ability to work autonomously while managing competing priorities and deadlines
- Experience building strong relationships with internal stakeholders across different business areas
- Demonstrated capability as a true generalist lawyer with the flexibility to advise on a wide variety of legal issues
