About this job

We are currently looking for a Technical Team Lead to join the team in Delft.

Satellite operations are becoming increasingly complex. With more satellites, more diverse missions, and growing demands for automation and operational efficiency, mission operators require ground segment solutions that are flexible, scalable, and easy to adapt. Traditional ground segment solutions are often highly customised for individual missions, limiting scalability and increasing operational complexity.

At S&T, we are changing this by developing a modular, software-first ground segment platform that combines reusable building blocks for mission planning, tasking, satellite operations, monitoring, and data workflows. Our ambition is to create a scalable operational environment that enables efficient management of current and future satellite missions, reduces complexity, and accelerates mission deployment across civil, commercial, and Defence applications.

You will be working within the Defence & Security business unit, where we are working on innovative solutions that leverage space technologies. You will focus on the domain of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR). Here we make satellite mission control software, work on EU consortium satellite data related platforms and provide intelligent solutions for processing Earth Observation data onboard satellites and on the ground.
