Salary: USP Grade 3, SP 4-6 (FTE: £26,016 - £26,846 / Actual: £9,021 - £9,309 per annum)
Contract: Permanent, part time, 15 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Working 11:00 – 14:00 (some flexibility available).

Bury St Edmunds County High School is seeking to appoint a Finance Assistant to join our busy and welcoming Administration and Reception Team. This part-time role is for 3 hours per day and offers an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive environment where every member of staff contributes to the success of the school.
The successful candidate will assist with a range of finance-related duties, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the school's financial processes. Previous finance experience is not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and willing to learn.
Applicants should have experience of working in an office environment and possess good administrative, organisational, and communication skills. The ability to work accurately, maintain confidentiality, and build positive relationships with staff, students, parents, and visitors is essential.
