Manual Salesforce Testers

Blu Omega is seeking Manual Salesforce Testers to support the delivery of secure, reliable, and high-quality Salesforce solutions supporting mission-critical federal programs. This role is responsible for performing hands-on manual testing throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure high-quality releases.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) runs programs benefiting veterans and their families, including healthcare, education, and compensation services.

Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical designs to develop comprehensive manual testing strategies
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, scripts, scenarios, and requirements traceability across Salesforce applications and related integrations
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, system, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing
- Validate Salesforce functionality, including data models, user roles, permissions, security, automation, and integrations
- Test application interfaces and data flows to ensure accurate processing across systems
- Identify, document, track, and triage defects; assist developers with root-cause analysis
- Validate fixes and perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is maintained
- Maintain requirements traceability and test coverage throughout releases
- Report testing progress, coverage, defects, risks, and release readiness using objective test evidence
- Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve quality issues during the SDLC
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups and sprint planning
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of software QA or software testing experience
- Hands-on experience with manual application testing
- Knowledge of Salesforce platform, including data models, security, automation, and integrations
- Experience testing complex business workflows and Salesforce functionality
- Defect tracking, test evidence documentation, and requirements traceability skills
- Ability to work within Agile/Scrum teams
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain required government credentials, including a PIV if applicable
Preferred Qualifications
- Supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or federal health IT programs
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, Microsoft 365, and Agile tools
- Salesforce API testing and experience with Postman
- Basic SOQL knowledge for querying Salesforce data
Compensation
Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00
Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
