Description and Requirements

The Customer Engagement Event Specialist supports the strategy, planning, execution, and measurement of customer engagement programs at industry conferences and internal events for Lenovo ISG. This role collaborates with sales, marketing, product management, executive leadership, agencies, and vendors to deliver customer experiences that strengthen relationships, accelerate business opportunities, and enhance Lenovo's brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

-
Support end-to-end planning and execution of customer engagement programs, meetings, and industry events by managing project timelines, logistics, deliverables, milestones, budgets, and execution plans.

Ensure a compelling and differentiated Lenovo ISG brand experience across all customer touchpoints and engagement activities.

Partner with sales, marketing, executives, customer success teams, and external partners to deliver customer-centric engagement programs aligned to business objectives.

Coordinate customer, executive, and subject matter expert participation, including meeting schedules, speaker preparation, and presentation logistics.

Support event promotion, attendee communications, lead generation activities, and development of customer-facing content including invitations, presentations, and event messaging.

Maintain project documentation and capture event metrics, attendee feedback, and proof-of-execution requirements to measure program effectiveness and support continuous improvement.

Manage agency, vendor, and supplier relationships to ensure successful program delivery, budget adherence, service quality, and operational efficiency.

Support budget tracking, purchase orders, invoices, and reconciliation activities.

Manage multiple concurrent projects with strong organizational discipline, proactively mitigating risks and driving process improvements to enhance program effectiveness.

Develop a strong understanding of Lenovo's Infrastructure Solutions portfolio, products, solutions, and strategic priorities.

Required Qualifications

-
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, event management, or related field.

-
Prior experience in event marketing, customer engagement, experiential marketing, meeting planning, project management, or related disciplines.

Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

-
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

-
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior-level stakeholders.

-
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

-
Willingness to travel as required to support events and customer engagements.

Preferred Qualifications

-
Experience supporting customer experience centers, trade shows, or B2B marketing programs.

-
Experience managing event operations, budgets, vendors, and performance measurement using event, CRM, and marketing technologies.

-
Familiarity with technology industry products, solutions, and partner ecosystems.
