The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.
Job Description:
- PR & PO Management: Initiate and generate Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) based on operational needs and approved budgets
- Aging & Backlog Analysis: Perform PR/PO aging and pending PO analysis to resolve procurement bottlenecks and streamline approval workflows
- MoM Variance Analysis: Conduct Month-over-Month (MoM) variance analysis to track spending fluctuations and evaluate financial performance against historical trends
- Invoices & Delivery Orders Reconciliation: Ensure that quantities and total billing amounts match seamlessly between internal systems and vendor Delivery Orders (Surat Jalan)
- Inventory & Demand Forecasting: Analyze monthly usage patterns to forecast material and inventory requirements for upcoming months
- Spend Optimization: Identify instances of overspending, underspending, and abnormal spending patterns, providing actionable insights to optimize costs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from Finance, Accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, dashboards) and comfortable working with large datasets
- Experience working with WMS/ERP systems is a plus
- Familiar with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) for data analysis, reporting, and workflow automation, and open to using AI in daily work
- Good communication and coordination skills, including with vendors and cross-functional teams
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and hands-on, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
