Description

This position is responsible for meeting the daily, weekly and monthly production goals assigned to his/her areas of responsibility, meeting also the quality and cost requirements. Provide leadership to all personnel under his/her responsibility to meet the organization objectives.

Additionally, this role requires issuing work orders and organizing workflows during days or times when the direct manager is unavailable. The Senior Supervisor must ensure uninterrupted production operations, address any emerging issues promptly, and maintain communication with the team to provide clear instructions and support. This includes delegating tasks, monitoring progress, and making real-time decisions to meet production targets and maintain quality standards.

It is imperative that the Senior Supervisor makes decisions that benefit the entire business, rather than focusing solely on the single production line (MegaCell) for which they are operationally responsible. This broader perspective ensures that all actions align with the overall strategic objectives of the organization, fostering synergy and long-term success across all departments.

Role expectations

Provide guidance, mentorship, and problem-solving assistance to individuals in supervisor roles, foster a collaborative environment, and share best practices to build a strong leadership team.

- Responsibility for the effective management of a production team

- Plan and draw up a production schedule.

- Decide on and order the resources that are required -

- Apply and meet the Quality criteria establish by the organization.

- Apply standard quality, engineering knowledge and tools to all work standards, goals and objectives.

- Apply lean concepts in the operations,

- To be able to manage direct employees efficiently.

- Manage MES Production systems.

- Conflict management of personnel under his responsibility and other departments.

- WIP management.

- Coordinate tasks and work with other departments.

- Develop and run performance reports.

- Leadership (i.e. accountability, customer service, employee engagement, etc.).

- Data analysis focused on continuous improvement plan development.

- Understanding and follow-up of GMPs.

- Schedule regular maintenance for equipment

- Comply with all safety regulations.

- Train new employees.

- Payroll activities as requested by HR

What we're looking for

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Graduate degree is preferred.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

- Proven experience as a production manager / supervisor in the management of over 100 employees. The expected experience in this position is over 5 years. Preferred Medical or Automotive Industry.

- Deep knowledge of production management.

- Experience in reporting on key production metrics.

- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.

- Basic understanding of TPM.

- Knowledge of the ISO standard 13485 is a plus.

LANGUAGES

-
English (written and spoken) – B1/B2.

SKILLS /COMPETENCIES

- Great team player with strong interpersonal skills.

- Conflict resolution skills.

- Ability to make business decisions with constant readiness to answer.

- Management of MS-Office (Excel, Word and Power Point).

SPECIFIC CERTIFICATIONS/SPECIALTIES/COURSEWORK

- Lean Manufacturing is a plus.

- Continuous improvement is a plus.
