The Role

As a Qualified Carpenter / Kitchen Fitter, you will be responsible for installing our bespoke, hand-crafted kitchens to a high standard directly in our customers' homes. Working from detailed design plans and specifications, you'll bring the design and sales team's work to life on site — fitting carcasses, worktops, doors and integrated appliances with precision and care. You will be the face of Horizon during installation, so a professional manner and pride in a flawless finish are just as important as your trade skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Install bespoke fitted kitchens in customers' homes to a high standard, working from detailed design plans and specifications.

- Fit carcasses, worktops, doors, panelling and integrated appliances precisely and in line with specification.

- Carry out first and second fix carpentry, coordinating with plumbers, electricians and other trades on site as required.

- Take precise on-site measurements before installation, flagging any discrepancies against the design or survey before proceeding.

- Maintain a high standard of finish and quality control on every job, snagging and resolving issues before sign-off.

- Represent Horizon professionally in customers' homes, keeping the worksite clean, tidy and respectful of the client's property throughout.

- Liaise with the production/workshop team, sales and design consultants, and other trades to ensure installations match specification and any on-site issues are resolved efficiently.

- Report any on-site issues, variations or additional works required back to the office and design team promptly.

- Manage your own time and schedule to complete installations within agreed timeframes.

- Adhere to health and safety standards on site at all times.

- Carry out a final walkthrough with the customer, ensuring their full satisfaction before sign-off.
