About the Role
We are looking for a proactive Quality Assurance Executive to support quality and compliance initiatives within a logistics and warehouse environment. You'll work closely with warehouse and operations teams to monitor quality performance, investigate operational issues, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with quality standards and SOPs.
- Conduct warehouse and logistics audits to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
- Analyse operational data and prepare management reports.
- Investigate product damages, inventory discrepancies, customer complaints, and service failures.
- Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor KPIs and recommend productivity improvements.
- Maintain quality management processes and compliance initiatives.
- Keep accurate audit, investigation, and quality records.
- Support internal and external quality audits.
- Guide operational staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Assist with continuous improvement and operational excellence projects.
Requirements
Essential
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Management, Warehouse Operations, or Logistics.
- Experience in Contract Logistics, 3PL, Warehousing, or Distribution is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Experience conducting audits and managing quality documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas, data analysis); Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems.
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP platforms.
- Background in continuous improvement or operational excellence initiatives.
