Mo te turanga | About the role

We are looking for a motivated and organised Operational Support Officer to join our team. This role is responsible for providing high-quality operational and administrative support to ensure the efficient delivery of services and business operations.

As an Operational Support Officer, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, support business processes, maintain accurate records, coordinate workflow activities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide administrative and operational support across the organisation.

- Coordinate and monitor operational processes and activities.

- Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation.

- Respond to internal and external enquiries in a timely and professional manner.

- Prepare reports, correspondence, and business documents.

- Support data collection, monitoring, and reporting activities.

- Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and team administration.

- Assist with process reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and quality standards.

- Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders.

About You

We'd love to hear from you if you are an early-career professional looking to establish a career in the public sector. To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Some experience in administration, operational support, customer service, or a similar role.

- Strong organisational and time-management skills.

- Experience managing multiple tasks and competing priorities.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

- A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
