AI Automation & Integration Engineer

About the Position
We are seeking a highly motivated AI Automation & Integration Engineer to help develop and implement artificial intelligence systems throughout our organization.
This is not a traditional IT support position.
The person in this role will work directly with company leadership to identify business processes that can be automated or improved using artificial intelligence, APIs, workflow automation and software integrations.
Our goal is to integrate technologies including ChatGPT/OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, AI agents, MCP servers, automation platforms and other emerging AI technologies into our day-to-day business operations.
The ideal candidate is a recent Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or related graduate who has a strong interest in applied AI and has already experimented with building real AI applications.
We care more about what you can build than how many years you have worked.
Responsibilities
- Develop AI-powered workflows using OpenAI/ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude and other large language models.
- Develop and maintain AI agents capable of interacting with company systems and data.
- Build integrations between AI platforms and existing business software using APIs.
- Configure and develop Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations.
- Automate repetitive internal workflows using platforms such as n8n, Make, Zapier or custom software.
- Develop internal AI assistants that can access company documents, policies, procedures and operational data.
- Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and company knowledge bases.
- Integrate AI with CRM, email, websites, lead-generation systems and operational software.
- Develop automated lead intake, qualification, routing and follow-up workflows.
- Help automate document analysis, reporting, estimating and administrative processes.
- Develop AI-assisted SEO and digital-marketing workflows.
- Work with Google Search Console, Google Analytics and other marketing platforms where applicable.
- Build data pipelines connecting different internal and third-party systems.
- Test and troubleshoot AI agents, prompts, APIs and automated workflows.
- Monitor AI output for accuracy and reliability.
- Implement appropriate authentication, permissions and security controls.
- Document integrations and workflows so systems can be maintained and expanded.
- Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies that could improve company operations.

Applicants should be prepared to demonstrate something they have personally built.
