Join the Close Brothers Asset Finance team where you will drive business growth, while building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with SME customers and key industry stakeholders within the Construction & Recycling sectors.
Our ideal team member will have previous experience in a customer-facing sales roles within the asset finance sector, with a strong track record of delivering financial targets and will possess strong financial acumen and excellent relationship-building skills.
This is a field based role, so you'll work from your home office, but will spend a significant amount of time travelling on your patch. This role covers a territory across the M4 corridor, so being based anywhere along the M4 (Bristol, Swindon, Reading, or up towards Oxford) would ideally suit this opportunity.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Proactively identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to foster repeat business.

Manage the end-to-end sales cycle including ensuring timely and precise service delivery and providing customers with the relevant information to close the deal.

Serve as a knowledgeable and credible finance partner by staying informed of relevant products, market trends, customer needs and competitive landscape.

Ensure full compliance with all governance, regulatory and internal requirements, including the accurate and timely completion of all reporting and review activities mandated by regulatory bodies.

Work collaboratively with the Risk function to ensure the consistent alignment of objectives, adhering fully to the principles of the Enterprise Risk Management framework of the Close Brothers Group.

A proven ability to cultivate strong relationships and communicate proficiently with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.

Highly self-motivated and exceptionally organised.

Expertise in negotiation, presentation, and closing deals, employing a consultative sales approach.

Strong commercial insight and an in-depth understanding of industry trends, business drivers and customer needs.

A full driver’s license
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE/ARE:

Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex financial scenarios.

A proven track record in business development and strategic planning to drive growth.

Adaptable to rapidly changing market conditions and customer needs.

Experience with the Transport sector and relevant equipment / assets.
