- Prepare preliminary and detailed designs for rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems.
- Perform basic solar PV system sizing based on client requirements, available area, electrical load, and energy consumption.
- Prepare and review single-line diagrams (SLDs), equipment layouts, cable routing, and basic electrical drawings.
- Assist in determining appropriate PV modules, inverters, transformers, switchgear, cables, protection devices, and other system components.
Conduct basic electrical calculations including:
1. Load and energy calculations
2. Cable sizing
3. Voltage drop
4. Short-circuit considerations
5. Protection and equipment ratings
6. Transformer sizing
7. Inverter sizing
8. PV system capacity
- Assist in evaluating solar generation estimates and system performance.
- Use applicable engineering standards, manufacturer requirements, and local electrical requirements in preparing designs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Licensed Engineer (preferred but not required)
- At least 2 years of relevant engineering experience
- Solar PV systems, Electrical design, MEPF engineering, Electrical estimation, Construction, Renewable energy, Power systems
- Experience in solar PV systems, electrical installation, or EPC projects is an advantage
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a service vehicle (manual and/or automatic)Willing to travel frequently and be assigned to project sites
Pay: Php21,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
