Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Assistant QC Manager to support the QC Manager in managing quality control and assurance activities at our BRCGS-certified manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day QC and QA activities at the plant.
Implement and monitor quality standards and control parameters.
Conduct and supervise incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
Maintain quality records and audit-ready documentation.
Identify non-conformities and support CAPA/corrective actions.
Support BRCGS, ISO, customer, and statutory audits.
Coordinate with Production and Maintenance to resolve quality issues.
Supervise and guide QC inspectors across shifts.
Escalate quality issues and system gaps to the QC Manager.
Requirements:
5–7 years of QC experience in the plastics industry is essential.
CIPET / Diploma / Degree in Plastics or related field.
Knowledge of QC/QA systems, inspection, documentation, and quality standards.
Experience in thermoforming or sheet extrusion is preferred.
BRCGS / ISO / food-packaging experience will be an advantage.
Knowledge of RCA, CAPA, and SPC preferred.
Good communication, reporting, and team-handling skills.
Comfortable working on the shop floor and across shifts.
