We are seeking an experienced Application Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing V93000 support strategies for a key high-performance computing customer. This role will oversee application engineering execution, customer engagement, test development, and production readiness to achieve test coverage, quality, and time-to-market goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage a team of application engineers in developing and deploying test programs for high-volume production with our customers.
- Develop detailed project plans, establish milestones and ownership, manage risks, and ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Communicate clearly, listen actively, build trusted customer relationships, and influence technical and business decisions.
- Define and execute test strategies and roadmaps aligned with product and business goals.
- Oversee test hardware (load boards, probe cards, interface hardware) and software development for 93k.
- Collaborate closely with customer, sales, BD/MKT, COE and R&D teams to define product strategies and ensure testability.
- Own and monitor KPIs related to test development and production quality.
- Ensure timely support for new product introductions (NPIs) and transitions to high-volume manufacturing.
- Manage ATE infrastructure, tools, and vendor relationships.
- Support root cause analysis of test escapes, false failures, and yield issues.
- Lead hiring, mentoring, performance management, and career development for the test engineering team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in ATE test engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
. Hands-on experience with ATE platforms such as the Advantest V93000, Teradyne UltraFLEX, Eagle Test Systems, J750, or equivalent platforms.
- Proven expertise in test program development, debugging, and validation.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics, DFT techniques, and failure analysis.
- Experience with scripting/programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python, Perl).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience in managing teams across geographies is a plus.
Additional Skills Preferred (but not required):
- Experience in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environments.
- Experience with mixed-signal or SiPho testing is a strong plus.
