Responsibilities
- Operate industrial saw machines to cut aluminum and other materials
- Read cut lists, drawings and production work orders
- Measure materials accurately before and after cutting
- Set up saw equipment based on required dimensions
- Load and unload materials safely
- Inspect cut materials for quality and accuracy
- Identify damaged or incorrect materials
- Report equipment or production issues to the supervisor
- Perform basic housekeeping around machinery
- Follow all lockout, guarding and machine safety procedures
Skills
- Previous experience operating industrial saw equipment is preferred
- Metal fabrication or manufacturing experience is an asset
- Ability to use a tape measure and other measuring tools accurately
- Ability to read basic production drawings and cut lists
- Strong safety awareness
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to lift and handle manufacturing materials
- Must be available for permanent night shift

- $19.00–$23.00/hour based on experience
