Technician Lead

Role Description

· Provides technical leadership across all clinics, ensuring dialysis machines, RO water systems, and related equipment operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with DOH, PSN, and manufacturer standards.

· Establishes standardized technical systems, maintenance programs, and documentation practices that support consistent clinic performance and readiness for expansion.

· Serves as the technical authority supporting Operations and Nursing, without assuming operational or clinical line management.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and standardize technical operations across clinics, including machine setup, calibration scheduling, preventive maintenance, and RO water-system monitoring.

· Develop and maintain technical SOPs for machine priming, shutdown, disinfection, troubleshooting, and water-system checks.

· Train, mentor, and provide functional oversight to clinic-level technicians, ensuring consistent technical capability and safe practices.

· Maintain a centralized asset registry covering dialysis machines, RO systems, generators, and critical equipment across all sites.

· Coordinate vendor servicing, repairs, parts replacement, and emergency technical support.

· Review and validate technical logs, maintenance records, and safety documentation required for DOH and PhilHealth compliance.

· Monitor water-quality documentation and dialyzer reprocessing data (if applicable) in coordination with QA and Nursing leadership.

· Support operational readiness for new clinic openings, including installation, acceptance testing, and handover of equipment.

· Partner with the Operations Director on vendor performance evaluation and input into equipment procurement decisions.

· Investigate technical incidents and contribute to root-cause analysis and corrective actions with QA and Operations.

Core Competencies

· Technical Mastery: Strong understanding of HD machines (Fresenius, Nikkiso, B.Braun, etc.) and RO systems.

· Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Identifies and resolves technical issues quickly.

· Documentation Discipline: Ensures accuracy of logs required by DOH, PSN, and PhilHealth.

· Training & Coaching: Guides clinic technicians and promotes technical excellence.

· Safety & Risk Awareness: Understands infection-control, water standards, and environmental-health requirements.

· Planning & Coordination: Manages multi-clinic servicing and preventive maintenance schedules.

· Vendor Collaboration: Works effectively with biomedical and engineering providers.

Qualifications

· Education: Bachelor’s degree or technical/vocational certificate in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Technology, or related field.

· Experience: Minimum 5–7 years as Dialysis Technician; multi-site or senior technician experience preferred.

· Training: Manufacturer trainings (Fresenius/Nikkiso/B.Braun), water treatment systems training, Safety Officer training.

· Certifications (preferred): Biomedical Technician certifications, ISO 9001 Internal Auditor.

Reporting Line: Reports to COO

Supervises: Clinic-level Technicians (functional oversight)

● Provides enterprise technical governance across multiple operating units, ensuring shared equipment, water systems, and technical standards scale consistently while accommodating service-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

● Oversee technical standards and maintenance programs across multiple business lines or service models.

● Establish enterprise technical governance, escalation pathways, and risk controls for equipment and infrastructure.

● Support technical integration for new services, acquisitions, or partnerships.

● Build and lead an expanded technical function, including senior technicians or technical supervisors as scale increases.

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php22,000.00 per month
