HEAVY EQUIPMENT / TRUCK MECHANIC WANTED.
A.W.I. is excited to hire full time Heavy Equipment Mechanic for the shop located in Phoenix, Arizona. A.W.I. is looking for a team member that has a proven commitment to safety, are accustomed to working on water pumps and hydraulic equipment and can be committed to a full-time schedule. This person must be looking to help grow a small business.
ABILITY TO WORK WITH MINIMAL SUPERVISION REQUIRED
Needs to be able to keep shop and supplies clean and organized and be motivated to do quality work. Must have a working background in the diesel/heavy equipment field.
Understanding/ability to diagnose various systems and components, commonly found on heavy equipment. For example: hydraulic systems, water pumps and how they function, fuel systems and their components. Ability to diagnose, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions. Need to have a can do and safely attitude, who wants to be part of a great team. Needs reliable transportation, be able to perform physically demanding work, sometimes in the outdoors.'

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Heavy equipment mechanic: 5 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- CDL B with Tanker (Preferred)
- Driver's License (Required)
