Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our team and drive excellence on the road! Duties
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 trucks, including flatbed vehicles, adhering strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each shift to ensure optimal safety and compliance
- Load and unload goods efficiently, with particular attention to securing flatbed loads for safe transit
- Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery schedules and reduce transit times
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery logs, inspection reports, and route sheets
- Communicate proactively with dispatch teams regarding delivery statuses or any issues encountered during routes
- Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with clients during deliveries, providing excellent customer service
Experience
- Proven experience as a commercial driver, specifically with flatbed or similar heavy goods vehicles
- Demonstrable driving experience with HGV Class 1 vehicles in a logistics or delivery environment
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and compliance standards for commercial driving
- Familiarity with route planning tools and GPS navigation systems
- Valid HGV Class 1 license with no restrictions or endorsements that would impede driving duties
- Experience handling delivery documentation accurately and efficiently
- Strong understanding of vehicle safety checks and maintenance procedures

Pay: £16.81-£18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 50.0 per week
