The global population is aging, and the need for home care is growing each year. Unfortunately, at a time when care is needed more than ever, the home care industry is facing a crisis – a shortage of care workers.

At Caribou, we're on a mission to solve the caregiver crisis. When caregivers feel valued, recognized, and financially secure, they stay longer, deliver better care, and strengthen our communities.

Caribou is building the engagement infrastructure for the home care workforce and the agentic layer for home care operations. Our platform interfaces with office staff and front-line caregivers to facilitate meaningful recognition, stronger relationships, and operational efficiency.

Caribou was recently recognized as one of The Globe and Mail's Top Growing Companies – #10 in technology – and we're just getting started. Join us as we transform how care organizations recognize and retain the people who make care possible.

Senior Product Manager, AI

Caribou is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help shape the next generation of products supporting home care organizations, caregivers, and the people they care for.

Our product suite has expanded significantly, including Rewards and new agentic products across shift booking, EVV reminders, and customer support. Many of these products have moved quickly from 0 1. Now, we're looking for a Senior Product Manager who can take meaningful ownership of these products, deeply understand our users, and turn promising products into products that consistently deliver measurable outcomes.

This is an opportunity to build at the intersection of AI, healthcare, and workforce technology, with significant autonomy and direct access to a highly engaged user base. You'll work closely with our Head of Product, Engineering, Data, Design, Customer Success, and other teams to determine what we build, how we measure success, and how we continuously improve the value our products deliver.

What you'll be doing

- The voice staffing agent, end to end — coordinator-facing and caregiver-facing experience, from the call opening through the fill, plus the system prompts, guardrails, and evals that make it reliable.

-
The agent portfolio. EVV support, clock-in reminders, and new agentic surfaces where AI can meaningfully take work off a coordinator's plate.

-
Reliability as a product problem. Eval methodology, failure taxonomy, and knowing what "good enough to expand" means before you expand.

-
Define clear product success metrics and take ownership of improving them, with a focus on end-user adoption, engagement, customer ROI, and business outcomes

-
Own product roadmaps, priorities, key milestones, and release schedules while balancing customer needs, technical considerations, and company strategy

-
Build and iterate on agentic product experiences, identifying where AI can meaningfully improve workflows and deliver value for caregivers and home care organizations

-
Work closely with Engineering in a fast-paced AI product environment, using modern AI tools to prototype, explore solutions, and accelerate product development

-
Develop a deep understanding of our users through continuous research, customer conversations, product data, and feedback from our customer-facing teams

-
Prioritize experiments and features based on customer feedback, data, business impact, and strategic goals

-
Partner closely with Engineering, Data, Design, Customer Success, Marketing, and other teams to deliver high-quality, customer-centric products

-
Use data and analytics to understand product performance, identify opportunities, and drive measurable improvements in engagement and outcomes

-
Support go-to-market strategies for new products and features, ensuring customer-facing teams understand the product, its value, and how to position it effectively

-
Help connect our product roadmap to Caribou's broader business and revenue goals while maintaining a strong focus on delivering real value to our customers and end users

-
Continuously evaluate market developments, customer needs, and emerging AI capabilities to identify new product opportunities

About You

- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally building and scaling B2B SaaS products in a fast-paced environment

-
Hands-on experience building and deploying agentic or AI-powered products into production, with an understanding of what it takes to move beyond prototypes and deliver reliable user value

-
A strong technical foundation and the ability to work deeply with engineers, understand technical tradeoffs, and use modern AI development tools such as Claude to prototype and explore ideas

-
Experience working in a fast-moving AI product environment, where technology, customer expectations, and product possibilities are evolving quickly

-
Demonstrated success taking products or meaningful features from 0 1 and then iterating based on real-world usage and outcomes

-
Experience using product data, customer insights, and experimentation to drive measurable improvements in adoption, engagement, or business outcomes

-
Strong product judgment and the ability to balance user needs, technical constraints, speed, and commercial impact

-
An adaptable, scrappy, entrepreneurial mindset. You're comfortable operating with ambiguity, making decisions with imperfect information, and changing course as you learn

-
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders around product decisions

-
Genuine empathy for customers and end users and a desire to build technology that improves people's day-to-day lives

Bonus points

- Experience building B2B2C products where both the customer and end-user experience matter

-
Experience building products with high-frequency end-user engagement, such as workforce technology, HR tech, consumer/mobile applications, or gaming

-
Experience with loyalty, rewards, or recognition products

-
Experience in home care, healthcare, or workforce technology

Why this role is exciting

Build meaningful agentic products. You'll have the opportunity to take AI products beyond demos and experiments and turn them into experiences that deliver tangible value for real users.

Build for both buyers and consumers. You'll solve business-critical problems for home care organizations while creating products that caregivers genuinely choose to use and return to.

Own outcomes, not just features. You'll have significant autonomy to make product decisions and will be accountable for whether the products you own achieve the outcomes they're designed to deliver.

Shape how products show up in the market. Your ownership will extend beyond what we build to how the product is positioned, branded, launched, and understood.

Get incredibly close to your users. We have a highly engaged community of caregivers and customers, giving you a continuous feedback loop to understand what's working, what isn't, and what we should build next.

Make an impact beyond the product. The products we build support home care organizations and the caregivers delivering essential care every day. Your work can help make caregivers' jobs easier, improve their experience at work, and ultimately contribute to better care.

Join us at an exciting stage of growth. Caribou is growing, our product portfolio is expanding, and you'll have the opportunity to meaningfully influence both our products and how our Product function evolves.
