Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate service requests using transportation management systems and other relevant software platforms such as Service Fusion.
- Schedule shipments, deliveries, and pickups efficiently, ensuring timely execution aligned with client needs.
- Maintain accurate data entry for all service activities, shipping & receiving logs, and freight documentation.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, third-party logistics providers (3PL), carriers, and clients via multi-line phone systems while practicing professional phone etiquette.
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in freight handling or supply chain processes.
- Support shipping & receiving operations by verifying shipment details and coordinating transportation logistics.
- Assist with inventory management tasks related to freight movement and supply chain coordination.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with transportation management systems (TMS) or supply chain software such as Service Fusion.
- Strong analysis skills to interpret data related to freight, shipping, and logistics operations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information over phone calls and written correspondence.
- Proficiency in data entry, typing accuracy, and managing multi-line phone systems efficiently.
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with freight handling practices.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
