Head of Growth, WeScale
About WeScale
WeScale teaches print-on-demand sellers how to build real brands. Founder Chris Heckman has sold over $30 million of his own print-on-demand products, and the audience he's built around that is one of the largest in the space: two YouTube channels, a free community, an email list, and a paid membership with more than a thousand members.
Why this role exists
The audience, the offer, and the infrastructure are all in place. Chris presents a live webinar every other Saturday that converts well above industry norms. Content ships. The community runs.
What WeScale doesn't have is someone whose entire job is turning that audience into paying members. Paid ads, email, funnels, and attribution have been Chris's to run in the gaps between everything else a founder does, and it shows. The engine is built. It needs an owner.
What you own
Everything between someone seeing an ad and someone becoming a paying member. You report to Chris and work alongside the content and community team leads. They bring in the audience. You turn it into members, and you tell them which videos and posts produced buyers.
-
Paid acquisition on Meta and Google, YouTube included. Retargeting first, then cold traffic into the quiz and the webinar. You have a standing daily budget in the four figures that needs no approval, and more when results justify it.
-
Email, end to end. The list, every flow, the weekly newsletter, onboarding.
-
Funnel conversion across the Blueprint quiz, BuildMyPOD, the sales pages, and the webinar pages.
-
The webinar campaign. Chris presents. You run everything around him: calendar, emails, retargeting, replay, offer window.
-
Reporting. Hyros, Klaviyo, and the Marketing Hub dashboard are yours. The team should always know what's working because you told them.
-
Testing of creative, audiences, and offers.
-
The AI command center. The ad accounts, attribution, email, and funnels are already wired into Claude Code. Extend it and build agents for the busywork. We grow with agents before we grow headcount.
Not yours: content creation, community and retention, product, and Chris's personal-brand ads.
Guardrails: the offer, the price, and any public claim change only with Chris's sign-off. A test that touches those, risks attribution, or outruns what the team can deliver goes to him first. Everything else is your call.
What success looks like
-
New paying members grow every week, not just webinar weeks.
-
Ads are on, profitable, and attributed, and the cost of a new member is known and falling.
-
The newsletter goes out every week, and every lead gets what they signed up for.
-
More free members become paying members.
-
Webinar registrations grow each cycle without the close rate slipping.
-
Within a year, Chris no longer opens Klaviyo, Meta, or Hyros himself.
Who you are
-
You've personally run Meta and Google ads with real budgets and been accountable for the return. Managing an agency that ran them doesn't count.
-
You've run email at scale in Klaviyo or similar: flows, deliverability, and a recurring send you were judged on.
-
You've built and fixed funnels and worked with attribution tools like Hyros.
-
Agents and automation are already how you work, not something you plan to get to.
-
Most likely you've done this for a community, course, coaching, or membership business that grows through YouTube, webinars, and email. Strong e-commerce marketers with the skills above are welcome too.
How we work
Small team by design. You don't need permission for anything except deleting something or making a rapid change. Take things all the way; Chris will tell you if he wants less. If a question is waiting for a standup, it waited too long. Ownership means getting it done, whether by you, a teammate, or an agent, not quietly absorbing it. All communication happens in shared Slack channels, money included.
Everyone here signs on to four values: Set the Standard (we don't compete, we set the bar), Extreme Ownership (no excuses, no passing the buck), Radical Candor (the truth, directly and with respect), and Fiduciary Mindset (the customer's interest comes first, as if we were legally bound to it).
