Role Summary
A solution architecture role providing oversight across the Lighthouse programs. Rather than owning delivery of any single program, this person provides technical consultation and guidance across all LHP’s, ensuring consistent patterns, adherence to the client organization standards (particularly Cloud), and no duplication of solutions. The role blends enterprise/solution architecture with the ability to engage hands-on when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide architectural oversight and consultation across the concurrent Lighthouse projects.
- Guide in-house and third-party teams toward consistent patterns and the organization’s cloud and enterprise standards.
- Prevent duplicate solutions across projects, promoting reuse and alignment.
- Partner with stakeholders overseeing each program to align technical direction with program goals.
- Manage and coordinate with third-party vendors, providing architectural guidance and evaluating their decisions.
- Engage hands-on as needed, prototyping, providing reference guidance, and unblocking teams.
- Translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders within the organization's complex matrix organization.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in software engineering and solution architecture, including enterprise architecture.
- Hands-on experience across multiple cloud platforms, specifically Azure and GCP.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems.
- Proven ability to navigate a large, complex matrix organization and work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Able to operate at both the architectural and hands-on-keyboard engineering level.
- Experience with AI-native technologies and solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare and clinical domain experience.
- Vendor / third-party management experience.
Pay: Up to $85.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
