A Snapshot of Your Day

Join Siemens Energy as a Student Worker in our Wind Power Product Management division. In this role, you will provide critical support to R&D platforms and projects by creating structure for project deliverables in the PLM@Wind database. Your contributions will help ensure business continuity and enhance the efficiency of our product development programs.

We are looking for two profiles, both with an engineering background:

-
Technical Focus: This profile will emphasize technical skills, focusing on how to digitalize processes and enhance technological integration within our projects:

-
Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards to report on project deliverables and data status. Perform business systems reporting and analytics to support decision-making within the PLM team. Identify and resolve data inconsistencies within SharePoint and PLM systems.

-
Information Structuring & Stakeholder Management Focus: This profile will concentrate on structuring information, managing stakeholder expectations, and aligning project goals with business needs:

-
PLM Database & Project Deliverables Management: Set up and maintain project sites in Microsoft SharePoint to structure project deliverables. Manage and track deliverables and documentation across Onshore and Offshore product development programs. Structure and upload project deliverables into the PLM@Wind database to ensure data consistency.

-
Process Support & Governance: Support program management teams in applying PLM processes to their specific projects. Assist process experts in defining, describing, and detailing PLM process frameworks. Create communication and training materials to facilitate the onboarding of project teams to selected processes.

The two profiles will be working together and will drive new initiatives together. One employee will focus on the data and Power BI - finding efficient solutions. The other will focus on finding the pain-points and solutions based on stakeholder management communication. You will have access to engage with a lot of stakeholders in the business from the whole value chain.

What You Bring

You are currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program in Technology Management, Software Development, Engineering or a related discipline. You have at least 2 years left at your study and has just started your Master degree. -
People-oriented and service-minded, ready to take ownership and find solutions.

-
Possess excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

-

-
Are familiar with PowerBI for creating reports and dashboards.

-
Have knowledge of Microsoft Flow, PowerApps, or JIRA as an advantage.
