Could you be the full-time Senior Buyer - Printing Managed Services, Collaborative hardware & Fixed Telephony in Cluj-Napoca, Romania we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Ioana Serban (GFC Project Controlling Senior Manager, Cluj-Napoca) and work alongside dedicated and passionate teammates.
You'll define and implement the Global and Local Sourcing strategy for Printing Managed Services, Fixed Telephony, Collaborative Hardware (audio conferencing and video conferencing equipment, smartboards, virtual rooms), as well as shared devices such as tablets and barcode readers/scanners. You will ensure the successful sourcing, contracting, and management of suppliers. You will lead supplier selection processes and manage supplier contracts, while also supporting commodity strategies and building strong relationships with suppliers and IS&T stakeholders.
We’ll look to you for:
- Help & Support commodity management;
- Represent Printing & Collaborative Hardware commodity;
- Consolidate commodity needs and sourcing demands;
- Manage Local and global suppliers panel relationship;
- Monitor Local and Global Sourcing RFP with Support of Buyers;
- Participate actively to commodity strategy and panel elaboration;
- Ensure effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving;
- Monitor Buyer activity and Daily Support on specific segment;
- Operational procurement responsibility on negotiation;
- Lead Saving Plan by leveraging Design to Cost, Volume bundling, Global contracts, best cost country solutions and panel reduction;
- Contract negotiation from Supplier / ALSTOM Template;
- Contract management;
- Central Governance of Printing Managed Services contracts and revision of the strategy with AT Local Team;
- Responsible for commodity maturity development with efficient sourcing and purchasing measures leveraging Alstom’s procurement tools;
- Participate to Quarter Business Reviews, as needed, to represent the commodity;
- The Senior Buyer works closely with internal IS&T stakeholders;
- Assess properly all risky suppliers and manage the associated mitigation plan;
- Manage initial issues before escalation to line manager;
- Generate innovative ideas for increased process efficiency & reduction in cost (catalogue).
