Job Summary:
NCS Engineers, LLC (NCS) is hiring an Engineering Intern in our Willis office. The candidate will work on water plant projects and learn and perform routine engineering tasks under the direct supervision of a senior engineer with the goal of developing entry-level engineering skills.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Senior in high school seeking hands-on experience.
- No experience required.
Qualifications/Skills Requirements:
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including detailed report preparation.
- Excellent computer, math, and English skills.
- Ability to drive to work.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge ETAP, SKM Power Tools, or Easy Power.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provides general support to the engineering department as defined by supervisor.
- Identifies potential areas of product improvement; recommends and assists with the development of appropriate solutions.
- Assists one or more senior electrical engineers on projects.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift, up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to travel to various job sites and traverse locations to obtain necessary data.
