About the Role
We are looking for a creative, highly curious UI/UX & AI Product Designer to join our client’s product team in Mysore.
This is not a traditional UI/UX role focused only on creating screens in Figma. We are looking for someone who understands modern product design, user behaviour, design systems and AI-assisted product development.
You will work closely with Product Managers, Developers and business stakeholders to take ideas from initial requirements through research, user journeys, wireframes, prototypes and polished production-ready interfaces.
You should also be comfortable using AI as part of your everyday design workflow to research, explore concepts, generate alternatives, prototype faster and improve the overall user experience.
What You’ll Do
- Own UI/UX design from concept to production across web and mobile applications.
- Translate business requirements into user journeys, information architecture, wireframes and intuitive interfaces.
- Create high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes using Figma.
- Build and maintain scalable design systems, components, variables, tokens and reusable UI patterns.
- Conduct user research, competitor analysis and usability testing.
- Identify UX problems using user behaviour, feedback and product data rather than relying purely on visual preference.
- Design responsive experiences across desktop, tablet and mobile.
- Work directly with developers to ensure designs are technically practical and accurately implemented.
- Use Figma Dev Mode and structured design specifications to improve designer-to-developer handover.
- Design with accessibility, usability and inclusive design principles in mind.
- Continuously review live products and recommend improvements to usability, conversion and engagement.
AI-First Design Responsibilities
AI should be part of how you work, not simply another tool listed on your CV.
You will be expected to:
- Use AI-assisted design and prototyping tools to rapidly explore product concepts.
- Create prompt-driven UI concepts and functional prototypes.
- Use tools such as Figma AI / Figma Make, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Lovable, v0, Replit, Stitch or similar AI product-building tools where appropriate.
- Turn written requirements and rough ideas into initial UX flows and prototypes quickly.
- Experiment with prompt-to-UI and prompt-to-code workflows.
- Use AI to assist with UX research, competitor analysis, user personas and journey mapping.
- Generate and test alternative layouts, UX copy and interaction patterns.
- Use AI-assisted tools to identify accessibility and usability issues.
- Understand the strengths and limitations of AI-generated designs and apply strong human design judgement before anything reaches production.
- Help the wider product team develop better AI-enabled design workflows.
Designing AI-Powered Products
Experience designing AI products is highly desirable.
You should understand how UX changes when designing features involving:
- AI assistants and conversational interfaces
- Chat-based experiences
- Natural-language input
- AI-generated recommendations
- Voice interfaces
- Generative AI content
- Human-in-the-loop workflows
- AI confidence, errors and fallback experiences
- User control and transparency around AI-generated outputs
The successful candidate should think beyond simply adding a chatbot to an application and consider how AI can genuinely make the user journey simpler.

Good to Have
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Familiarity with React/component-based applications
- Understanding of APIs and how modern applications work
- Experience with SaaS platforms
- Experience designing dashboards and data-heavy applications
- Experience with analytics, heatmaps or A/B testing
- Motion design or micro-interactions
- Adobe Creative Suite / Adobe Firefly
- Experience working with Agile product teams

Work Location
This is a fully office-based role in Mysore (Mysuru).
Candidates must be willing to work from the Mysore office on a full-time basis. This position is not remote or hybrid.
