Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Line Server to join our dynamic food service team! As a key leader on the front lines, you will oversee daily food and beverage service operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience. Your role will involve coordinating team members, managing food preparation and presentation, and maintaining a clean, efficient workspace. Responsibilities
- Lead and support the food service team during shifts, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service.
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and timely delivery of orders to guests.
- Manage customer orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and kitchen equipment operation to maintain food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue through effective suggestive selling techniques.
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation protocols and organizing supplies for quick access.
- Process cash transactions accurately, handle cash register operations, and manage retail sales transactions with precision.
- Support training of new team members in food service procedures, POS operation, and customer interaction skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or fast food environments with a strong understanding of restaurant operations.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales management.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively while adhering to health regulations.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing register operations.
- Previous experience in retail sales transactions or cashiering is a plus
